Our Goal
Black Fox Wrestling Academy is committed to providing a sports environment that is athlete-centered and which is characterized by open, clear communication, honesty, fairness, and mutual respect. Our goal is to promote and support amateur wrestling at all levels. The organization provides elite coaching and mentoring to athletes in a challenging, positive environment with the primary goal of cultivating champion wrestlers.
PRESEASON
Preseason is that time to get back on the mats and build on your skills. Our season is built for athletes to get their timing back and their brains firing so we can start building on new skills to prepare them for the upcoming season. We continue to build on fundamental techniques and begin adding new skills to their styles, to get them ready for the upcoming season. Our focus is to build on all levels and learn how to incorporate new techniques into their wrestling skill set. We encourage our athletes to be creative and find ways to make these skills their own.
AUG - NOV
FOLKSTYLE
Folkstyle season is time to improve and refine on skills learned throughout the year. We focus our time on mat awareness and positional wrestling during these months. Our practices are fast paced with high paced drilling with precise and proper technique. Our coaching staff is dedicated to teaching our athletes accountability and responsibility through dedication, determination, and discipline.
NOV - MARCH
Our spring season teaches basic & advanced Freestyle and Greco techniques and encourages athletes to be creative in their styles. During the spring and summer, athletes learn how to take their wrestling to new levels. Become more explosive and dynamic in your skills! Our program develops athletes at all levels and shows them that all styles are important to become a great wrestler. We teach kids how to be creative and build on skills learned throughout the year. We have a proven system that has developed many National All Americans and World team members. Come and enjoy the beauty of the world of wrestling.
